Operations
All members of Chelan Fire & Rescue have diverse fire, rescue, and emergency medical responsibilities that ensure protection of the lives and property of the citizens and visitors in our district. Our emergency response priorities are achieved through operational readiness which is achieved through emergency response, training, education, and prevention. Chelan Fire & Rescue is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with career firefighters who are supplemented and supported by our volunteer home response members for all responses to ensure a safe and effective all hazards response force. In addition to emergency work our members provide a wide range of services to the community which include blood pressure screenings, department and apparatus tours, and community outreach.
