Chelan Fire & Rescue has started using the newly completed vehicle fire prop located at Station 74 (Howard Flats.)  This latest addition to our training facility uses propane fired vehicle props that simulate an actual vehicle fire giving our members the opportunity to hone our skills in controlling and extinguishing these types of fires.  Members of Chelan Fire & Rescue had the opportunity to practice multiple evolutions on Tuesday night (November 22nd) and will continue these evolutions throughout the rest of November.  Future additions to this training will include dumpster and propane tank fires as well.  Chelan Fire & Rescue would like to thank Ameri-Gas of Wenatchee for their generous donation of the propane used for these exercises.
